WHY do they care and HOW does it affect the supporters of prop 8?

Makes me sick, really—the people that the decision does NOT affect are the ones that made this happen. Straight people banned gay marriage and I cant figure out why they need to do that. how does it affect them? how does it have anything to do with their lives? Just because they disapprove…it makes less sense than my proposition 9-to ban careless ignorant clowns from voting on measures that affect individuals and families in very real ways.

The douche bag in the picture smiling and holding the celebrate prop 8 banner makes me absolutely fume. WHAT in the world does this have to do with him??? It makes me want to call some jerk I don’t even know awful names and burn his face in a boiling pot of lava just to wipe that shit-eating grin off of his face. He’s happy that he helped take away people’s rights and separate the human race once again in a fight for equality. Congratulations on that one. Go home to your wife and church and keep pretending you’re not in love with your gay neighbor.

I cant put it into words right now how wrong this is and how much it upsets me—ME, someone who is not affected except by how it makes my stomach turn and eyes tear in sadness and disgust and sympathy and makes my head swim in perplexity.

ok so i just got fired from one of my 3 jobs and i'm catching up on ANTM after a fruitless effort at catching up on my accounting studies and drinking a few beers of course...and just have a couple stupid things to say: Allison is super cool. aminat is full of herself and not showing any growth, teyona is cool and the only other contender, blaxican Fo is super cool and soooo cute and i love the freckles of course but they never let short ppl win (that's for season 13--america's next top SHORT model, which i've been thinking a good idea for years but seemed to have missed these auditions) soooo happy natalie left bc aside from that mole she is just another stuck-up pretty face who is ignorant about other countries, the 25-year-old needs to shut up about being 25 bc i'm 24 and...yea she just needs to stop acting old before i kill her. SO what i'm saying is that allison's eyes are so freaky and she is a strange one but it's probably gonna happen for her. she's different and yes i happen to appreciate that.

been meaning to talk about this band for a while...SO F-ING COOL. first off: drummer is 15 and AMAZINGGGGG. he's so cool. jer, ash and i went to see them like a month ago and this kid is so into it his head could pop off. the two lead are married i think, not sure, but they look like the sweetest weirdest vest wearing scandavian couple ever. the album is super cool and live is SO good anyone could get into it i swear. some of the songs on album are not outstanding but in concert they are the most dancey energy-y (yes i know energetic is the real word but this describes better) super cool band ever. almost ever anyway... at least in the runnings w MoS and Belle and Sebastian. anyyyywayyyyy the coolest thing about MSHVB: I was in nyc, the same wknd my face got fucked up, and me n my pally mike went to this used record shop in union square like every day--Academy Records, i believe. so on that sunday we went to a used shop in brooklyn where there was a listening station w/ new albums n used. i listened to a bit of mshvb and decided against buying the album full-priced (it came out like 2 seconds before that day) BUT our last day in nyc we decided to go to Academy one more time annnnnnd right as we were leaving, since we had spent so much time in there i made a joke like 'NOOOO ONE...LAST....CD..." and the very last album i found, in the very last mixed up nonsense no order row wassss...MT. SAINT HELENS VIETNAM BAND. yes. so i bought it. and listened. and a week later they were playing in boston. and i love the coincidence (or perfection?) of timing and circumstance. so i appreciate them a bit more than is normal but i still think everyone should listen to this band. NOW. and i write bc i pretend that people care about my opinion. but mostly bc i care about it. jer took a photo that i will post soon but dont have his camera...so this one will do for now.
